The Project
FinOva, a UK-based fintech company processing £2M+ in daily transactions, needed to migrate from an ageing on-premise infrastructure to a scalable cloud environment without any service interruption.
What We Were Up Against
Zero-downtime migration for a transaction-critical fintech platform, meeting FCA regulatory requirements for data handling, achieving PCI DSS compliance in the cloud environment, and reducing infrastructure costs while improving performance and scalability.
How We Solved It
We executed a phased migration to AWS using a lift-and-shift approach for legacy components and re-architecting core services as containerised microservices. Implemented Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, set up CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and configured comprehensive monitoring with CloudWatch and PagerDuty.
